She has been active both in the Filipino and local community since she moved to
Singapore in early 2006. As a job hunter for almost 6 months, she has everything a great "success" storyteller to share to her fellow Filipinos striving to get a good life in Singapore.

She started working as an Assistant Marketing Manager at AAAs Com Solution, with
Richard Lee and Stephanie Koh's guidance, she was known from her selling expertise for Notebook and Computer products in Sim Lim Square, Funan DigitaLife Mall and major quarterly computer shows (PC Show, COMEX, IT Show and SITEX) and eventually promoted as a Shop Manager in less than 2 years when she joined Juzz1 Holdings.

In 2009, Mindy Tan, I. T. Retailer tycoon in Singapore, promoted her as Supervisor and has been moved to a bigger branch in the new 313 Somerset Mall under Newstead Technologies Pte Ltd, largest IT Retailer in Singapore.

After 6 years of expertise in Information Technologies retail industry, she joined a multi-national Japanese Company and working as IT Solution Engineer. A career move that leads her to a better life to pursue her dreams of helping other people.

Community service is not new to her, since she has been a member of Batangas Varsitarian, an active organization in the Filipino Community in Singapore and in the Philippines as well, where it all started.

On July 2008, she founded OPERATION BIHIS: "Damit na Pinaglumaan Mo, Mabibihisan pa Ako", a program assisted by various Photography group in Singapore together with Batangas Varsitarian and PinoySG as an aid to the growing basic needs of our indigenous kababayan in the Philippines.

Late 2009, she founded BABAE (Bagong Bayani na mga Eba), a program recognized by the Embassy of the Philippines in Singapore. It aims to give assistance to working and residing Filipinos in Singapore on social opportunities and to undertake charitable endeavors as well. Currently expanding it's members to UAE and Southeast Asia (Hongkong, Macau, Malaysia and Indonesia)

In the local community, she is the 1st Filipina to hold a position as Assistant Secretary of SIMS Neighbourhood Committee, under Macpherson GRC, she's an active volunteer of the National Volunteer & Philanthropy Center - Singapore through the program SG Cares and is currently volunteering for the Singapore Red Cross.

Her success in Singapore is not only a beautiful story to her friends, but also an inspiration to other Filipnos visiting a very useful website called PinoySG: the Filipino Portal in Singapore.
She was an active member and volunteer of PEBA (Pinoy Expats Blog Awards) a non profit, non-stock organization of International Filipino Bloggers around the globe.

On March 27, 2011 she was nominated and become a finalist in OFW Pinoystar Top 10 Pinoy Entrepreneur in Singapore, awarded at Mandarin Hotel Orchard Singapore and attended by the Philippine Embassy and various politicians from the Philippines.

On July 04, 2011, she was awarded at Batangas City Capitol by Vilma Santos Recto, Governor of Batangas City Province and Vice Governor Marc Leviste for being an outstanding Batangenya and inspiration to people on their province who aims to achieve success.

A resolution commenting Lovely Fernandez for her success and helping her kabayan was signed by the Provincial Board members.

On October 23, 2012 she was awarded at the municipality of Mataasnakahoy, Batangas with the initiative of Mayor Danilo M. Sombrano for being Outstanding and bringing Honour to Mataasnakahoy, her hometown.

She has been a blogger and contributing her stories online to inspire more Filipinos around the globe with the theme Best Things in Life are Free, but only 'till supply Last.
